Our mission
V4U (Vietnamese Pho You) has 2 separate branches:
V4U Teaching Platform was founded in 2018 by Quy Nguyen while she was teaching Vietnamese in the USA in the Fulbright Program. It started with online classes for a small group of American students in Minnesota then later on with offline classes in Vietnam. As the name suggests, V4U talks about both the language and culture and it goes beyond just a language class itself.
V4U Language Exchange Program was founded by Trang Le and Quy Nguyen in 2019 with the aim of connecting Vietnamese who are learning any languages and foreign students who are learning Vietnamese through a professional, supportive and fun exchange program.
Many Vietnamese learners are having difficulty finding natural, real life listening materials instead of books at their level of understanding. V4U provides authentic conversation audio of Vietnamese people in real life featuring all the idiosyncrasies of Vietnam. With the goal of regaining the authenticity of Vietnamese language, V4U’s teachers aim to explain the Vietnamese language that native speakers actually speak.V4U language exchange program has connected more than 1,600 foreigners with local Vietnamese FOR FREE!
